Oppo F1 set to be Launched on 28th January in India

The Oppo F1, the camera-centric Smartphone to be manufactured by Oppo Electronics, is supposed to be launched in India on 28th of January 2016.

The Oppo F1, which was announced by Oppo during the CES 2016, is now up for pre-orders on a Vietnamese online seller. It is priced at VND 6,490,000 (approximately 19,300 INR). The said Smartphone will start shipping from January 21. Potential customers in India, however, will have to wait for an official announcement from Oppo to when the device will be available for pre-order.

The Oppo F1 runs on ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Smartphone sports an aluminium body and is only 7.25mm thick. It is equipped with 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi. The 2.5D Gorilla Glass 4 coating very well protects the display screen. The Smartphone is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor which is clocked at 1.7GHz, Adreno 405 GPU. The F1 should not have issues with multi-tasking as it is well equipped with 3GB RAM. It is fuelled with a 2500 mAh battery. The phone also supports dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) connectivity.

The most decorated feature of the Oppo F1 has to be its camera specifications. The Oppo F1 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and single LED flash. The rear camera is complemented by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with wider f/2.0 aperture (1/4″ sensor). The phone has software features such as Beautify 3.0, 8 live color filters, and more. Moreover, the display also doubles as the flash in low-light environments.

In terms of storage, the phone has 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
