Motorola Droid Turbo 2 still affected by green line on Display on some devices

Motorola Droid Turbo 2

It’s been couple of months since the launch of Motorola DROID Turbo 2. However, some issues seem to have been unsolved as yet. A particularly vocal, understandably angry group hasn’t had the best of the times. The users have been affected by a bug dating back as far as mid-November. This bad bug makes an ugly green line appear on the display at random.

Reports have flooded into Motorola’s forums regarding the above bug on the Motorola Droid Turbo 2. Motorola has indeed tried to help as many people as they could by facilitating replacements. But it’s January 2016, and there are still new reports of this issue turning up and no known fix coming to eradicate it.

Earlier, Motorola was claiming that the issue existed was due to the dropping of the phone to which users countered that they have yet to drop their device. Some even say the issue comes and goes on its own randomly.

And even if the drop excuse were valid, we’d say it’s pretty sore to admit that their big “Shatterproof Display” claim doesn’t rule out that their display can still be affected by drops (even if they aren’t technically being shattered).

Motorola surely has to come to some conclusion whether it is hardware or a software problem very soon. In the meantime, if you’re affected by this issue then you’ll surely want to give one of the two companies a call to see about getting a replacement.
