Electronics giant iBall has unveiled a low-cost Android tablet today, the Slide 3G Q45i. The said Tablet is priced at Rs. 5,999.  The Slide 3G Q45i features dual-SIM support along with voice-calling functionality and is available with leading online retailers.

The iBall Slide 3G Q45i tablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It sports a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The Tablet is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom x3 processor clocked at 1GHz, clubbed with 1GB RAM. The tablet comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, along with a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front-facing camera. The connectivity options on the Slide 3G Q45i include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity. In addition, the device features Cast Screen technology along with multilingual keyboard including 21 regional languages.

iBall has been launching quite a few affordable Android Tablets in the recent past. The company’s Slide 3G Q45 in one such Tablet that is a bit similar as Slide 3G Q45i except that the former is priced at around 6,500 INR and comes with single SIM functionality. Apparently, iBall this month launched two more tablets in India, namely the iBall Slide 3G Q81 and the Slide Cuddle 4G, priced at Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. Clearly, the company’s strategy seems to be expanding its user base in the economical segment of the Indian Tablet market.
